Welcome to TRU Clean NC (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using the https://trucleannc.com
website (the “Site”) or our cleaning services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. Scope & Acceptance
1.1 These Terms govern your access to and use of the Site, booking platform, content, communications, and the residential/commercial cleaning services we offer in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas.
1.2 By using the Site, requesting a service, or otherwise interacting with us, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into binding contracts.
1.3 We may modify or update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued use constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
2. Services & Bookings
2.1 Service Types. We offer residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, maid service, move-in / move-out cleaning, office cleaning, and related services.
2.2 Quotes, Estimates & Pricing. Prices or estimates provided through the Site or by our representatives are subject to change if the scope of work changes, the property’s condition is different than presented, or other unanticipated factors arise.
2.3 Booking & Confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when we provide you with a confirmation (via email, phone, or other communication).
2.4 Service Availability. We operate within specified service areas (e.g. Raleigh, Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, etc.). Use of our services outside these areas is at our discretion.
2.5 Satisfaction Guarantee. As noted on our Site, we offer a satisfaction guarantee; if you are dissatisfied, you must notify us within a reasonable time frame (e.g. within 24 hours or as otherwise agreed) so we may remedy the issue.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
3.1 Advance Notice Requirement. You may cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment without penalty if you notify us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
3.2 Late Cancellations / No Shows. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, or if we cannot access your property (no keys, locked doors, etc.), we may charge a cancellation fee or retain a portion of the deposit to cover planned costs.
3.3 Rescheduling. If you request to reschedule, we will try to accommodate you subject to availability.
4. Use of the Site & Content
4.1 License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use (e.g. booking services).
4.2 Prohibited Uses. You agree not to use the Site for unlawful purposes, to interfere with the Site’s operation, to upload malicious software, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or services.
4.3 Intellectual Property. All content, logos, text, graphics, images, and software on the Site are owned or licensed by us and are protected by laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
5. Payment & Terms
5.1 Payment. You agree to pay for the services as quoted, including applicable taxes, fees, or additional charges arising from changes in scope or extra work.
5.2 Deposit / Upfront Payment. We may require a deposit or partial payment in advance for certain services (especially first-time customers or large orders).
5.3 Late Payment. If payment is not made when due, we reserve the right to suspend further services until payment is made or pursue collection.
5.4 Refunds. Refunds (if any) will be handled in accordance with our cancellation policy and satisfaction guarantee.
6. Customer Responsibilities & Access
6.1 Access to Property. You must provide access to the property at the scheduled time (keys, codes, etc.). If we are unable to access, you may be considered a “no show.”
6.2 Items & Hazards. Remove or secure fragile items, valuables, or personal documents before cleaning. You agree to inform us of any hazards (pets, chemicals, structural issues).
6.3 Adequate Utilities. You will ensure electricity, water, and other utilities are working and available during cleaning.
6.4 Liability for Damage. We will take reasonable care; however, you agree to inspect our work upon completion. If damage or missing items are suspected, notify us promptly (within e.g. 24 hours). Our liability is limited (see Section 8).
7. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
7.1 No Warranty. The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7.2 Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim, damages, or loss arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Site or services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
7.3 Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TRU Clean NC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Privacy & Communications

9.2 Electronic Communications. By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us (email, SMS, phone) including appointment reminders and promotional offers (if opted in), subject to applicable laws (e.g. TCPA for SMS in the U.S.).
10. Termination
10.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or refuse service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
10.2 Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Limitations of Liability) will continue in effect.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
11.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
11.2 Dispute Resolution / Arbitration. (Optional) You and TRU Clean NC may agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration rather than in court.
11.3 Venue & Waiver. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Wake County or specific county in NC], and both parties waive objections to venue or forum if permitted by law.
12. Miscellaneous
12.1 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
12.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely.
12.3 Entire Agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and TRU Clean NC regarding the Site and services, superseding any prior agreements.
12.4 Waiver. Our failure to enforce a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
